Notifications

Last verified: 2026-06-16.

Awthy can notify you when something happens to your account — starting with sign-in alerts. Notifications are managed under Awthy Security → Notifications in wp-admin.

Channels

  • Email (free). A plain-text alert is sent to the account's email address. Email login alerts are a free security baseline for every account.
  • Signed webhook (paid). A signed JSON event is delivered to a URL you control — for streaming sign-in events into a SIEM or automation. See Signed webhooks.

What you control

  • Per-user preference. Each user chooses whether they get email alerts and how often: every login, or new device or location only (the default, which avoids alert fatigue).
  • Per-role defaults (admins). Administrators can set a default preference per role; a user's own choice always overrides the role default.

Pages

  • Login alerts — what a sign-in alert contains and how to enable or disable it.
  • Signed webhooks — configuring a webhook endpoint and verifying the signature.
